At Preturnatural Consulting, we believe these titles are pulling at different parts of the same animal. Our founder, Peter Vogel has over 15 years of experience in product, project, and program management across technology and the life sciences, from clinical imaging to software development to bioinformatics. We would love to put that wealth of experience to work for you.
Flagship Pioneering
2025-Present
(with TekSystems) Senior IT Project Management for the company's Pioneering Medicines division, harmonizing technology systems and processes across the many new companies and platforms incubating within Flagship's ecosystem.
Synthego
2018-2023
Led the launch of Synthego ICE, an ML-powered tool for the analysis of CRISPR edits using commonly-available Sanger data. Starting in late 2019, founded and built a strategic PMO encompassing program and project management functions for both technical and commercial divisions within the company. Implemented New Product Introduction process and utilized it to successfully launch multiple products for this rapidly-growing startup.
Moderna
2023-2025
Led technology product and platform management for the company's clinical biomarkers labs, located in multiple offices across two continents. Oversaw the overhaul of the technology team, building new processes and a sustainable support model, as well as the rollout and implementation of critical LIMS systems.
In 2024, launched the pilot program for dynamic clinical forecasting ,and ML-based parsing of budget data and analysis.
Bioclinica (now Clario)
2010-2018
Led Technical Product and Project management for the company's Imaging and Clincal Biomarkers division, responsible for an integrated central imaging platform running over 200 Phase 2 and 3 clinical trials. Authored and implemented the Software Development Life Cycle, as well as hundreds of product requirements specifications. Worked closely with cross-functional teams from science, medical, operations, regulatory, and technology.
